Tommy Kirk (1941-2021) was an American actor. He gained fame for appearing in many popular live-action Disney films in the 1950s and 1960s, including Old Yeller, The Shaggy Dog, and The Absent-Minded Professor.
Contrary to the riffs in Catalina Caper, Tommy Kirk never received an Academy Award.
