Wally Westmore (1906-1973) was a British-born makeup artist whose main employer was Paramount. One of his earliest credits was the 1931 version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, where his work in transitioning actor Fredric March from Jekyll to Hyde was considered groundbreaking. Other notable films he was involved with include The War of the Worlds, Shane, Stalag 17, Rear Window, The Man Who Knew Too Much, The Ten Commandments, Vertigo, Breakfast at Tiffany's, and The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance.
